Post-Procedure Instructions

Please read through and follow ALL post-procedure instructions to ensure the best possible results.

Tenderness, itchiness, redness, and swelling is expected but will subside within 48 hours after the procedure.

How to care for the brows during the healing process:

Day of appointment:

Gently wipe away any lymph fluid and blood on the brows using a water wipe. Do this every hour for the first five hours.

Keep the brows completely dry for the first 48 HOURS.

Day 3+: WASH

Gently wash your brows once in the morning and once at night with water and liquid antibacterial soap (Dial soap). Pat dry with a clean towel/tissue. DO NOT scrub the area.

Day 3+: MOISTURIZE

Use a q-tip to gently apply a half a grain of rice amount of ointment to the brows after patting dry. Be sure not to over-apply as this can suffocate the brows and delay healing. You SHOULD NOT see a shine.

Continue cleaning your brows and applying ointment until they are fully healed (ALL scabs have fallen off on their own).

What to avoid during the healing process:

24 hours after appointment:

  • DO NOT consume any alcohol or blood thinning medications (aspirin, ibuprofen, etc.)

4 weeks after appointment:

  • DO NOT get Botox injections or fillers

Throughout the healing process (until brows finish peeling):

  • DO NOT go into high-sun exposure areas.

  • DO NOT let the brows get wet for long periods of time (brows cannot be soaking)

  • DO NOT go into saunas or pools

  • DO NOT exercise, workout, or sweat excessively

  • DO NOT use makeup, creams, or exfoliants on the brows

  • DO NOT get any facial treatments, chemical peels, etc.

  • DO NOT scratch, pick, or rub your brows until ALL scabs have fallen off on their own. Prematurely removing scabs can result in scarring and loss of color

After brows have healed:

  • Apply a thin layer of sunscreen (SPF 30+) to brows daily.
